SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY: Sacred Heart High School is one of the seven Diocesan Catholic High Schools in the Diocese of Camden. Sacred Heart serves the Cumberland County area but has students attending from nearby Atlantic, Gloucester, Salem and Cape May Counties. Current school enrollment (grades 9-12) is 360. The program of instruction is primarily College Preparatory, supplemented with Honors and Advanced Placement courses.

The multicultural community surrounding Sacred Heart High School ranges from urban and suburban to rural and agricultural.

Families sending their son/daughter to Sacred Heart High School are mostly middle class, whose parents often hold professional, managerial, and executive positions. Above all else, they highly value a Catholic Education.

STAFF: The faculty consists of 30 administrative and educational staff members including one priest, one school chaplain and supplemental parish priests for various religion services throughout the year.

CLASS RANK: Class rank is determined by a quality point system using course groupings. Courses are divided into four levels, based on course criteria (IV being the highest). GPA’s are available at the end of each year. Rank is determined at the end of the 6th semester.
