Our development and marketing program is an integral part of our school. It is a concerted effort to:

  • Promote the value and quality of our Catholic education
  • Obtain additional financial support for current operations and future growth
  • Provide communication and interaction for information and involvement
  • Our focus is concentrated on the following to provide a successful development program:

www.shhslions.com: VISIT OUR WEBSITE!!!!! The school website is continually updated to provide information in all aspects of operations. Visit often.

Lions Roar Newsletter: Four issues produced in the school year relating current events. Each issue is distributed with report cards with the exception of the last one in June which is available on the website only.

Note: A major effort has been made to consolidate our fundraising into the following main events as opposed to many smaller campaigns. In order to keep the cost of education reasonable, your participation is VITAL to achieve success.

Scrip Program: Many of you are already familiar with this program. SHHS offers scrip from Shop Rite and Acme. Send your order into school and your scrip is usually returned to you on the same day. The SHHS program is different then most in that the school splits the return percentage with its participants. Every time you make a scrip purchase, your share is banked for future use. Some uses of your account are deductions from book bills, yearbook fees, etc.

Annual Giving Fund: Our key fundraising endeavor to produce financial support for current operations, special projects and future growth.

“ROAR” Silent and Live Auction: An exciting event, the dinner/auction will be held on March 28, 2009. Committee meetings to organize the event are held on the last Monday of each month beginning in October.

Magazine Drive

A number or different organizations that are sponsored here at SHHS also hold fundraisers and events throughout the year. The school coordinates these activities but the individual organizations use their funds for their specific organization. Including: SHHS Athletic Association , Performing Arts Guild , Alumni Association , as well as individual classes, teams and clubs
